Great News! Great News! Great News!

We will continue our monthly ADOPT-A-PEW march the third Sunday of each month (excluding March and June as a result of Women's and Men's/Father's Day). This is an attempt to lessen the possible stress of reaching the requested goal of $100 per member by Homecoming. The ADOPT-A-PEW RALLY is an effort to help achieve our Annual Budget. Envelopes for this march are in the back of the church pews. If you need additional envelopes, please contact an usher. You may continue to use the Homecoming envelope included with your regular envelopes, if you desire.

PAMPERED CHEF!!! GET EXCITED!!!

Riverview can financially benefit from our efforts in this venture. With your support, we can reach our Finance Ministry's goal to raise $30,000.00 needed to supplement our budget. Let's do this!!! For more information, please contact Thomasa Grate, Deacon Ida McCollum, Carolyn Turner, or Mary J. Jackson.

Today is the eighteenth Sunday after Pentecost. (Pentecost is dedicated to the descent of the Holy Spirit upon the Apostles on the fiftieth day after the Resurrection of Christ). The color is GREEN. Green symbolizes the renewal of vegetation and generally of living things and the promise of new life. We use WHITE on the fourth Sundays here at Riverview for Communion.
